Welcome New Employees to the Team

Building a team that works remotely? Adding a new member? You can use VidHug to create a personalized welcome video for your newest teammate.

Have each person that your new hire will be working with create a short video, including a welcome message and a bit about their role within the organization. It helps to create familiarity and reduces any nerves associated with being the “new guy”.

Here’s an example - the one that we made to welcome our latest Customer Success team member!

Thank Your Sponsors

Many organizations rely heavily on the generosity of sponsors and donors in order to achieve their goals.

The same is true of the Kansas City Home Builders Association. The association promotes information, education, and advocacy for the building industry to the public and various levels of government. It also represents builders at community and industry events, showcasing the best that the home builders have to offer. With COVID-19 preventing an associate luncheon, the KCHBA Board of Directors created a VidHug Group Hug to acknowledge and show their appreciation for the sponsors whose support made that possible. We’ve created a short edit.

Celebrate a Retirement

When a long-term employee retires, the HR department in an organization will send around a greeting card for signature and perhaps present a gift to the retiree.

That limits teammates’ opportunities to share personal stories and best wishes. A VidHug Group Hug is ideal in this situation. Colleagues can record a video to share treasured memories, congratulations, or even a thank you for their help through the years. It’s much more personalized than a greeting card - and likely to provoke a much more emotional response.
